Having read through the thread most folks were talking about 900 series Logi cameras and so I thought I'd share my specific experience, hopefully it will help someone else. And seemed to persist even after I closed LCS. These settings persisted in Teams even through a reboot of Teams.
I opened Teams preview and then opened LCS, while in LCS the screen was black, hitting the buttons in LCS did change the pan and zoom visible in Teams. Then one time I accidentally opened things in the wrong order. Which seemed to indicate that they hadn't been reset by Teams but just ignored. What threw me was that when I closed down the Teams preview and re-opened the LCS the zoom and pan settings were still present. When I closed the Logitech Camera Settings app and previewed my video in Teams, the zooming and panning settings were lost. But then when I tried to use Teams it properly identified that the camera was in use by another application. And with out a Teams meeting open I was able to configure my zoom and pan using the Logitech Camera Settings(LCS) application. I downloaded the latest version of Logitech Camera Settings. The camera provided me by IT is a Logi C525. OS Support ⇒ mac 10.15, 10.14, 10.13, 10.I found this thread while trying to solve this problem.
